Client Spotlight: Finding Herself Again After Baby

Image
Some women book a boudoir session to celebrate a milestone. Others do it to remind themselves who they are again. This beautiful mama booked her session while she was pregnant. She told me she wanted something waiting for her after the baby arrived >>> a reminder that she could still feel beautiful, confident, and sexy after everything her body had gone through. Like most women, she showed up with a mix of emotions. Excited… but definitely nervous. She admitted she wasn’t sure she would look as amazing as she hoped in the photos. But she was ready to try. One moment she remembers the most? Braving the freezing cold weather so we could step outside for a few shots. Sometimes the best images come from doing something a little crazy. Another moment that stood out was when she saw the swing setup in the studio. At first she told me she didn’t think she could do the pose—but I encouraged her to try anyway. And she did. That photo ended up being her favorite of the entire ...

Client Spotlight: Stepping Out of the Box (and Onto the Swing)

Some sessions start with a quiet curiosity. Others start with a little nudge from someone who loves you. This one? Definitely the second. She told me she’d always wanted sexy photos of herself, but what finally pushed her to book was a simple comment from her wife one day. She mentioned how much she’d love that—and sometimes that’s all it takes. Permission. Encouragement. A reminder that you’re allowed to do something just because it makes you feel good. Leading up to her session, nerves were high. The very real, very normal kind. The kind almost everyone feels before walking into the studio. But the second she arrived, things shifted. She said once I popped out to greet her, it felt like we’d known each other way longer than five minutes. That’s my favorite moment >>> when the tension drops and the walls start coming down. As we got into the session, confidence started to build. You could see it happening in real time. A pose here. A laugh there. A little hyping up (...

Client Spotlight: Celebrating Life and Confidence

Image
She walked into the studio full of energy and excitement. This wasn’t her first time with me—this was her third—and she was ready to celebrate herself, her confidence, and a big life milestone. “I decided to book with Kadee again because we have a blast together! She knows just how to make you feel like a badass,” she said. Leading up to the session, she was all excitement. “This was my third time, so I was just excited!” And the timing couldn’t have been more perfect—her divorce had been finalized just two days before. “Let’s do this!” she said as she walked in. The session itself was full of laughter, fun, and a little bit of karaoke. “All the laughter—and I even did some karaoke to get some great shots,” she laughed. Being comfortable with the photographer made everything flow naturally, and it showed in every pose. When she saw her images for the first time, she was amazed. “Amazed! I couldn’t believe that was me,” she said. It wasn’t just the photos—it was a reminder of her streng...

Client Spotlight: Stepping Into Confidence A Second Time

Image
She walked into the studio with excitement written all over her face. This wasn’t her first time booking a boudoir session—she knew the magic that happens when you step out of your daily routine and truly focus on yourself. “This was actually my second time booking,” she shared. “I booked again because every woman needs her time to step outside of their daily lives to fully enjoy themselves!” Leading up to the session, the anticipation was high. “I was super excited!” she said. And when she arrived at the studio, that excitement only grew. “Ecstatic, couldn’t wait to get started!” The best moments of her session didn’t just happen in front of the camera—they happened while laughing and figuring things out. “The moment that stood out the most was when Kadee and I were on the floor perfecting a pose and we were laughing while I tried to figure it out. Being comfortable with the photographer really makes it perfect.” When she saw her images for the first time, the reaction was pur...
