Client Spotlight: Rediscovering Herself Through Boudoir — A Story of Healing, Confidence, and Faith

One of the best parts of what I do is getting to know the women who walk into my studio — every single one has a story. Some come in to celebrate themselves. Others come to heal. And sometimes… it’s both. This amazing woman had actually wanted to do a boudoir shoot years ago, back when her late husband was still alive. But like so many of us, there was hesitation. “We didn’t want someone looking at me,” she said. But after he passed, she decided to finally do it — and made sure to get the photo she had always imagined giving him. Leading up to the session, she told me she was extremely nervous. She didn’t think any of the photos would turn out good. Her confidence was low and she felt unsure of how it would all go. (Totally normal, by the way — most women feel this way!) But here’s the beautiful part: she said what surprised her most was how quickly she felt comfortable.
