Client Spotlight: Finding Herself Again After Baby

Some women book a boudoir session to celebrate a milestone. Others do it to remind themselves who they are again.

This beautiful mama booked her session while she was pregnant. She told me she wanted something waiting for her after the baby arrived >>> a reminder that she could still feel beautiful, confident, and sexy after everything her body had gone through.

Like most women, she showed up with a mix of emotions. Excited… but definitely nervous. She admitted she wasn’t sure she would look as amazing as she hoped in the photos.

But she was ready to try.


One moment she remembers the most? Braving the freezing cold weather so we could step outside for a few shots. Sometimes the best images come from doing something a little crazy.

Another moment that stood out was when she saw the swing setup in the studio. At first she told me she didn’t think she could do the pose—but I encouraged her to try anyway.

And she did.

That photo ended up being her favorite of the entire session. Strong, sexy, and confident in a way she didn’t realize she could be.

When she saw her images for the first time, her reaction said everything. She said the photos turned out exactly as sexy as she wanted and that they captured something powerful—the bravery women should have for themselves and the love we should always have for who we are.

By the end of the experience, she realized something simple but important:

She is beautiful. She is sexy.

 She first saw one of my boudoir session ads and thought to herself, “Hmm… that might be cool.” But like so many women, the nerves kicked in fast.  Okay y’all… I have to brag on this beautiful soul for a second. She booked her boudoir session as a surprise for her fiancé (they’re getting married in September — eeeek!!), and what started as a fun little gift turned into something way deeper.
