Client Spotlight: Raider Nation, Big Energy, and Total Badass Vibes
When this client came in for her first session, it was extra special because we’ve actually known each other forever. Even though we hadn’t seen or spoken to each other in a long time, after our phone call she told me she felt like she could totally be herself — like no time had passed. That instantly helped ease some of the nerves.
Boudoir had been on her bucket list for a while. She told me her grandma used to say, “If you got it, flaunt it!” and that stuck with her all these years. She decided it was finally time to give herself that experience.
Before her first shoot, there were definitely some anxious butterflies — mostly because she felt a little heavier than she wanted to be and didn’t know what to expect. By the time she came back for her second shoot, though, it was a whole different vibe: she walked in feeling excited, confident, and ready to rock it like a badass model.
Of course, there were some funny concerns: for the first shoot, she wondered, “Can Kadee hide my love handles? And what am I going to do with my snake during the shoot?!” (Yes — actual snake 😅). For the second shoot, it was, “How am I going to do five outfit changes in an hour?!” Spoiler: she nailed it.
She admitted during the first shoot, she was super focused on sucking in her belly and wondering what to do with her face expressions — but by the second, she owned it. She felt like a seasoned supermodel who had been doing this for years!
One of her favorite parts was how she could personalize the shoot — bringing her own Raiders blanket (because she’s a hardcore fan), loving the swing setup, and absolutely adoring the shower scene.
She gave a huge shoutout to Lenzie, our makeup artist, for making her feel perfect, sexy, beautiful, and confident. She loved every detail about the event session — and while the solo session was incredible, she said the event experience, with full hair and makeup, was the way to go.
The only “disappointment” she mentioned? By the time she was done with hair and makeup, the other girls had eaten all the amazing roll-up snacks. 😂 (We’ll do better next time, promise!)
When it came time to see her photos, she thought she loved her first shoot… until the second shoot blew her away. Her words? “Daaaammmnnnn I’m pretty hot.” 🔥
Even though she’s always been a confident Gemini, this experience took it to a whole new level — it boosted her ego in the best way and reminded her: age, size, none of it matters. All that matters is loving yourself — the rest falls into place.
She told me, “That’s literally me in those pictures.” She couldn’t believe how badass she looked and felt, and she wants every woman to know:
YESSSS — do this for yourself. It’s hands down the best thing you can do for your confidence, and it’s so much fun!
Her advice for anyone hesitating? “Don’t overthink it. Just do it. You will not regret it.”
When I asked her about favorite images, she couldn’t pick just one: the Raiders jersey, the swing, the corset, the shower scene, the just-a-sheet shots… she loves them all because they remind her how badass she is.
As for her self-care routine? Simple: eyeliner, brushed hair, and comfort. She doesn’t feel the need to impress anyone — as long as she feels good, she’s good to go.
If she had to describe her boudoir experience in one word? BADASS.
She summed it up perfectly:
“The overall experience for both the solo and the event is something I’ll never forget. But I do have one warning… it’s so freaking addicting! I promise you’ll wanna go back for another shoot!”
