Client Spotlight: A Boudoir Experience She’ll Never Forget

 One of my favorite things about boudoir is hearing why women finally take the leap. Every reason is different, and honestly? That’s what makes these sessions so fun.

This gorgeous babe told me she had been saving inspo pics for years — pinning outfits, poses, and all the things. But life kept her busy (as it does). Then her boyfriend’s birthday came around and she laughed and said, “I had no idea what to do for him! Lol. But I’ve always wanted to do boudoir. My friend had shot with you, so I texted her and just went for it. After talking to you on the phone, it just felt like the right time.”

And that’s usually how it happens. A little push, the right timing, and suddenly… it’s happening.

Leading up to her shoot, she wasn’t nervous at all — she was excited. Like, can’t-sleep-the-night-before excited. She told me her brain was going a million miles an hour trying to figure out what to pack, what to prep, what to do. (If you’ve been there, you know exactly what she means 😂).

Once she walked into the studio? Instant vibe. She said, “I liked wayyyyy more of the pictures than I thought I would! And I was more comfortable than I expected.” And honestly, watching that shift happen — where you realize this is actually FUN — is my favorite part.

And let’s just say… her boyfriend’s birthday surprise was a hit. “I felt great! Surprised! Thankful for your talent. My boyfriend was shocked — which was the goal! — and even weeks later, he still raves about them literally every single day.”


When I asked her what stood out most, she didn’t even pause: “Finally doing it! I’m so glad I did. I wish I would’ve sooner, but I didn’t know you yet — so it wasn’t meant to be until now.” 🥹

Her favorite photos weren’t even the ones she planned. They were the silly, fun, unposed moments where she let herself just relax. And honestly, those are usually the ones my clients end up loving most.

And her advice for anyone still sitting on the fence? “Just do it. You will not regret it. I have problem areas just like everyone else, and for the longest time I thought I needed to lose weight or tone up before booking. I let all of that go — and I’m so glad I did.”


Her last words? “I can’t wait for the next one!!!”

And THAT is what boudoir is all about. Sometimes it’s about confidence, sometimes it’s about gifting, and sometimes it’s just about doing something fun for yourself. But every time, it’s worth it.

 She first saw one of my boudoir session ads and thought to herself, “Hmm… that might be cool.” But like so many women, the nerves kicked in fast. She ended up rescheduling—maybe even once or twice—because she was scared. Not scared of me or the camera, but scared of not feeling “pretty enough.” Scared of not knowing what to wear.  Okay y’all… I have to brag on this beautiful soul for a second. She booked her boudoir session as a surprise for her fiancé (they’re getting married in September — eeeek!!), and what started as a fun little gift turned into something way deeper. She told me she was very excited leading up to the session, but like most women, wasn’t totally sure what to expect.
