Client Spotlight: From Curious to Confident

Sometimes it takes seeing someone else do it to finally take the leap. That’s exactly what happened with this badass client. She’d been curious about boudoir for a while—thinking about it, reading about it—but hadn’t actually booked. Then her best friend did a session, and she thought, “Okay, I can do this too.” Bonus: she already knew me a little and I’m close to home, so Boudoir by Kadee was the obvious choice.

Leading up to the shoot, the nerves were real. She didn’t know what to wear, what to expect, or even what she wanted. But once she picked out a few outfits, her excitement kicked in, and by the time she walked into the studio, she was ready to go. This is a sneak peek from her first session:

When she arrived, a little anxiety lingered—but it disappeared fast. Other women were shooting, her best friend was there, music was playing, and suddenly it felt fun, relaxed, and easy.

The standout moment? She came in thinking this would be a simple, safe, demure shoot. Then, before she knew it, she was like, “Take my top off? Sure!” That’s the magic of boudoir—confidence shows up when you let go, and fun takes over.

Second session:

Seeing her photos for the first time? She was blown away. “I can’t believe that’s me,” she said. On her first shoot, she nearly cried because she’d never seen herself like that. Now, after four sessions, she knows exactly how strong, sexy, and confident she looks in those images.

Favorite looks? Too many! A flowing white skirt and lace top for her “hippie vibe,” wings with a dark red teddy and boots, and even camo that turned out hotter than she expected. Her takeaway? “You literally can wear anything—it’ll work.”

Her biggest lesson? Confidence doesn’t come from size or age—it comes from embracing who you are and feeling like a badass in your own skin.

Her advice to anyone nervous about booking: “Do it. The nerves fade. The feeling afterward lasts forever. You’ll have photos to remind yourself you’re a bad-ass hottie.”

 She first saw one of my boudoir session ads and thought to herself, “Hmm… that might be cool.” But like so many women, the nerves kicked in fast. She ended up rescheduling—maybe even once or twice—because she was scared. Not scared of me or the camera, but scared of not feeling “pretty enough.” Scared of not knowing what to wear. Client Spotlight: From Nervous to Radiant – A Boudoir Session She’ll Never Forget

 Okay y’all… I have to brag on this beautiful soul for a second. She booked her boudoir session as a surprise for her fiancé (they’re getting married in September — eeeek!!), and what started as a fun little gift turned into something way deeper. She told me she was very excited leading up to the session, but like most women, wasn’t totally sure what to expect.
