Client Spotlight | Confidence Was the Best Reward

Some women book a boudoir session because they're celebrating a birthday, an anniversary, or a milestone. For this client, it was something even more personal.

She had always wanted to do a boudoir session but never felt confident enough. After reaching her goal weight, she decided it was finally time. This session wasn't for anyone else. It was her reward to herself, and I couldn't think of a better way to celebrate.

Like so many women, she came in excited... but definitely a little nervous. She told me she spent weeks shopping for outfits and hours getting everything ready the day before. When she walked into the studio, though, those nerves didn't last long. Since we'd already talked several times before her session, she said she felt right at home as soon as she arrived.

One of my favorite parts of the day was just hanging out with her. We laughed constantly, swapped stories, and before either of us knew it, the hours had flown by. It never feels like work when sessions turn into conversations with friends.

The biggest turning point came when she completely let her guard down.

She told me her favorite moment was realizing she was just walking around the studio naked without a care in the world. That might sound funny, but honestly... that's usually the moment everything changes. The nerves disappear, confidence takes over, and women stop worrying about what they look like and start enjoying the experience.


When she came back for her ordering appointment and saw her images for the first time, her reaction was simple:

"I was shocked that I did that!"

And that's exactly why I love what I do.

This experience helped her realize so mething she hadn't truly believed before—that she is sexy, and she doesn't need anyone else to tell her that. That confidence was already there. My job was simply to help her see it.

She also said the energy in the studio made her want to stay even longer and that the entire session flew by. Even better? She couldn't even pick a favorite outfit because she loved every single look we created.


One thing that made me smile was watching her day come full circle. After her solo session, she grabbed some lunch, took a little nap, and then came back later that afternoon with her best friend—someone I had photographed about five years ago. The three of us sat down together to narrow down her gallery, and it honestly made for such a fun ending to an already amazing day.

She decided on one of my signature albums and also started a Boudie Bank account, which is such a great option for spreading out payments while still getting exactly what you want.

When I asked what she'd tell another woman who's nervous about booking, her answer couldn't have been more perfect:

"Once you get there, the nerves stay at the door. Kadee doesn't even let you be nervous."

And when I asked why every woman deserves to do a boudoir session at least once, she said this:

"Because it lets you feel confident and sexy and it's all about you. There's nobody else doing it for you. Sure, Kadee poses you and hypes you up, but she's only highlighting what you are already presenting."

I honestly couldn't have said it better myself.

Watching women go from nervous to completely owning every second of the session is incredible, and I hope every time they open their albums, their each reminded of exactly how strong, beautiful, and confident they are.  She first saw one of my boudoir session ads and thought to herself, “Hmm… that might be cool.” But like so many women, the nerves kicked in fast.
